Our Pre-K students rocked the runway at their fashion show! They showed off their awesome homemade brown-bag designs and all the poses they’ve been practicing. The audience cheered loudly for every little model as they strutted down the runway. Families got to come in to watch and snapped lots of photos to capture the special moments. The kids were beaming with pride as they showed off their creations. It was a fun and memorable day that celebrated their creativity and confidence!

At BSD2, it’s important that we are ALL IN on attendance, and Blackhawk is taking that commitment to the next level. More than 350 students were recognized for achieving over 96% attendance during the first trimester, and tracking will continue throughout the year.

First trimester report cards were sent home on Tuesday, December 2 and grades are now available for parents to view in the Parent Portal.

The budget will allow the District to continue to offer all of its programs. It projects a $46,000 surplus, with expenditures and revenues roughly balancing at $47 million.

Bensenville School District 2 will conduct free developmental screenings for children ages 3-5 on August 12, September 18, October 22, December 5, February 19, and May 29. These screenings are the first step in identifying children for our Preschool for All program and/or Head Start. Call the Tioga School office at 630-766-2602 ext. 4200 to schedule an appointment for your child’s screening.

El Consejo de Educación del Estado de Illinois ha publicado su Reporte de Calificaciones de Illinois 2024. El Distrito Escolar 2 de Bensenville tiene el orgullo de celebrar que nuestras tres escuelas han recibido la Designación de Escuela Recomendable. Esta designación se basa en varios indicadores: rendimiento/crecimiento académico, índices de asistencia y la encuesta 5 Essentials Survey.
